New brand name. Same trusted performance.

Dow Corning® brand products are now Dowsil™ brand

In June 2016, Dow Corning become a wholly owned subsidiary of The Dow Chemical Company. Now, our proven silicone construction products are offered through Dow performance Silicones, a global business unit of DowDupont’s Materials Science Division.

Dowsil™ is the new product brand name for silicone-based building products from Dow High Performance Building, representing the combined power of Dow and Dow Corning.

What changes?
  • Product branding changes will be phased in over th next year, with Dow Corning® brand silicone products for building and construction changing to the new DOWSIL™ brand
  • New opportunities will be available for innovation and collaaboration
  • A new website featuring enhanced search and upgraded technical support capabilities
What stays the same?
  • Product formulations remain the same, and most material numbers and SKUs will not change
  • Warranty coverage stays in place, with identical warranty terms
  • Product descriptors (e.g., "Structural Glazing Sealant") that are part of the product names today will remain unchanged
  • Trusted silicone chemistries, features and product benefits continue, with the quality and innovation you've come to expect
